Brief information on Valentyn Shtefanyo life:
Valentyn Shtefanyo was born on the 28th of September 1978. He graduated from culinary
college #20 (Uzhgorod, Ukraine). At the moment he is married and together with his wife
Victoria they are raising a daughter – Vanessa.
Despite his young age, Valentyn has achievements in numerous prestigious contests of
professional skills:
1997 – being a second-year students, he took a first prize at Euro-Carpathian culinary
colleges competition.
2004 – together with his sister he took part in culinary competition in France, where out of 17
teams they got the 11th place.
2007 – participation in National French Competition, where all other participants were
French, being the only Ukrainian and winning a special jury prize.
2007 – World Championship in France, preceded by the first round in Ukraine. Valentyn
together with his sister took the fourth place, sharing it with a Canadian team.
Valentyn works with a French Chocolate. The most famous chocolate master-pieces made
by Mr. Shtefanyo: huge chocolate Christmas tree, Easter Egg (22,5 kilos), and chocolate
Nativity Scene.
One more amazing chocolate creation was a wedding dress made for his wife – Victoria. It
weighed 15 kilograms! This dress could be seen for a long time afterwards in a cafe on a
mannequin.
