Chocolate Festival 2010

In March, from 6 to 8 March, Lviv is welcoming chocolate lovers from all parts of Ukraine and all over the world. The city will become a chocolate heart of actions and performances and just produced chocolate flavour will spread over the city.

Lviv once again will prove its status of "Cultural and Festival Capital" of Ukraine. In the ancient streets of Lviv once again the synergy of mysterious atmosphere of the past centuries and merry atmosphere of the present will be dominating. The air will be filled with invisible, but very noticeable aromas of chocolate.

This year Festival of Chocolate will take place on the square in front of the Lviv Opera House and in Lviv Palace of Arts.

The highlight of this year's festival will be participation of the world-famous chocolatier-confectioner from Uzhhorod - Valentine Shtefanio in the Chocolate Festival.

Guru of chocolate art will lead interesting workshops; will demonstrate virtuosos' show of creating huge chocolate sculptures. Master is planing to impress Festival visitors by making 2 meter giant lion sculpture of chocolate.

Lviv sculptors will shape 10 different sculptures made of chocolate in front of the audience. Men will have a great opportunity to present their ladies one of these fantastic masterpieces, which will be available to purchase on the chocolate auction onthe 8^th. of March.

Chocolate fountains, concerts, a giant chocolate cake are waiting for you! There will be set of specially equipped playroom, where kids can enjoy plenty of chocolate sweets, play games and have fun taking active part in various quizes and competitions. The program planned for children: children's chocolate body art, puppet shows, drawing competitions ...

Overall, Third Festival of Chocolate has prepared for you a lot of exciting attractions and unforgettable emotions.
